Senior Specialist – Gdansk or Viby

Arla IT Solutions is rapidly growing in both activity level and number of employees and we need a strong leader to ensure we foster efficient and collaborative ways of working. IT Excellence is located in Denmark and Gdansk. You will be a part of the IT Excellence team either working from Gdansk or Viby J.

How you will make an impact
IT excellence defines and governs our ways of working and upskill colleagues in Arla in how we deliver IT & digital projects. We run SAFE “the Arla way”, but try to adapt the delivery methodology to the individual project, and we are therefore enhancing our delivery models to cover a hybrid version of agile and waterfall we use for large scale programs with strict delivery timelines and roll out programs.

In your role as senior specialist your primary responsibility include:

• Co-create on setting the direction for evolution of ARTs and specific areas
• Analyzing ways of working and collaboration to come up with improvement initiatives to our ways of working
• Implement changes to our ways of working, driving the changes and transformations inside IT Solutions
• Driving strong collaboration with Agile Release Trains, cross trains, cross IT and cross Arla
• Train, coach and inspire employees in the ARTs and projects.

What will make you successful
You are an expert in project delivery methodologies, agile, SAFE, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies to be able to use the best from all, to develop Arla ways of working in the future. You have a lean and efficiency mindset and strive for continuous improvements. You know your own strengths and weaknesses in relation to people, both in relation to your teams and your stakeholders, and you have the ability to navigate through and act as a role model to your people and trusted advisor to your stakeholders. Besides, a global mindset is required due to the global nature of the role. Further, you:

• Have experience from doing delivery of IT projects and programs, either as Release Train Engineer, program manager, Scrum Master, and have had agile coaching or similar roles as well
• Are certified in SAFE, Scrum and preferably also other delivery methods
• Able to develop inspiring training material and do the training online and onsite
• Have a holistic approach
• Experience how to come from strategy to execution
• Are able to travel from time to time to Denmark/Poland
• Possess strong English skills in speaking and writing
• Have strong communication and presentation skills
• Change management mindset
