About the job We are looking for talented and experienced senior embedded software engineers to join the Software Platform Group in R&D to further develop our Software Development Kits. The role can be tailored depending on your skills and experience. You will be working on our n RF Connect SDK, which is built around the Zephyr open-source RTOS. Most of this software is publicly available on Git Hub, and you will participate in open-source software development with partners worldwide. You will work in a smaller scrum team as part of a large group of experienced and competent embedded SW engineers. The ideal candidate is a good team playerwho will develop software powering our world-leading ultra-low-power chips. Together with a group of talented people, you will work on reference designs, applications, and samples integrating a wide set of functionalities offered by Nordic’s n RF Connect SDK. Your code has a chance to be used by millions of people globally.
Key responsibilities
Development of applications based on Nordic Semiconductor technologies
Creating examples presenting our products’ functionality and performance
Ensuring high code quality by providing tests and documentation of developed code
Provide support to Nordic’s Technical Support and Field Application Engineers
Key Qualifications
B. Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
Several years of experience within embedded software design, implementation and testing.
Very good knowledge of C
Experience working with ARM CPUs
Experience working with any RTOS or Linux kernel
