Magic Media is currently seeking a Senior Game Designer that can perform at a wide variety of game genres, platforms and target audiences and who is able to carry a project’s game design by handling most of the different game design fields.The person should be capable of working on multiple projects and cooperating with Producers, Customers, and other Stakeholders -internal and external- in a fast-paced international environment.

What you will do:

• Ability to create thrilling games that fit our client’s vision and provide solutions that match industry standards.
• Game theory and game mechanics design.
• Create detailed documentation of the Game’s Design both for Clients and for developers.
• Design game mechanics, systems, levels, UX/UI, game economy and everything that the game may need.
• Perform in-engine balancing, tweaking and polishing tasks related to game designs.
• Strong mathematical skills, with emphasis on Statistics and Probability; being able to formulate indexes to identify strengths and weaknesses of the economy design in the game.
• Experience designing Game Systems that efficiently achieve specific goals.
• Ability to create effective and well-documented wireframes for UX/UI.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team towards shared goals.
• Estimate, prioritize and coordinate game design activities.
• Coach teammates in game design tasks.
• Communicate and cooperate with Customers and other Stakeholders.
• Participate in different Design Department activities to collaborate and coordinate with fellow game designers.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience in game design: +5 years.
• Ability to create games of a wide variety of game genres and for a wide variety of audiences.
• Deep knowledge creating Game Design Documentation.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Experienced working with Art and Programming departments.
• Experience creating and tuning FTUE and game tutorials.
• Experience in game economy, F2P monetization and balancing.
• Deep up-to-date knowledge of the free-to-play market in mobile platforms.
• Experience working on games from pre-production to release and Live Ops.
• Shipped multiple game titles as Game Designer.
• Must be proactive, enthusiastic, flexible, capable of working autonomously and energetic.
  

Desirable Pluses:

• Experience developing pitches.
• Experience working with Unity and Unreal game engines.
• Basic scripting skills to adjust features created by developers.
• Experience developing for PC and console platforms.
• Knowledge of NFT Game Design.
• Experience in developing sandbox games.
• Experience in developing big open world games.
• Experience with mobile and Web GL games.
• Experience with play to earn concepts.
