Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer in zooplus, you will work in a constantly evolving environment, due to technological advances and the strategic direction of our organization. In this specific role, you'll work on our evolving masterdata front, building and maintaining our Search Engines Optimization and Masterdata Management tools. You will be working in a challenging Agile environment, taking part in the whole software development life cycle - from concept to maintenance and you will participate in solving challenges from E-Commerce domains together with the Product Owner and the Scrum Team. You will be responsible for:
Contribution to the ongoing evolution of the existing content supply portfolio of applications and services
Designing, developing, modifying, implementing, and supporting software components anywhere in the software stack
Developing software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes
Determining the root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions
Remaining current on new technologies and available vendor packages; evaluating and make recommendations, as necessary
Assisting in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing
Determining process improvements, best practices, and developing new processes
Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management
Our tech stack, you should expect to work with following technologies:
Infrastructure as a Code, one-click deployment, C4 diagrams
Influx DB, Kibana, Grafana, Sensu, Prometheus
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
6+ years’ of management & engineering experience
Intrinsic passion for learning and self-development
Willingness to work 70% of time on Backend and 30% of time on Frontend
Experience in solving problems and tasks of different complexity
Has the profound view of the project development and suggests the best ways to develop having in mind the final market goal
Broad experience designing, programming, and implementing large information systems
Ability to provide in-depth evaluation and analysis of unique complex technological issues
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
On call experience or willingness to be on call duty every 6 weeks (will be recompensed)
Must live within commutable distance to our Krakow office due to our hybrid work policy being 60% office and 40% remote working per month
