Sanctions and Screening Controls Data & List Management Senior Officer

The Sanctions and Screening Controls (S&SC) is a Risk function within First Line of Defence responsible for setting the requirements towards an end-to-end (Sanctions, PEPs, and Adverse Media) screening and sanctions programme solutions.
We are looking for an experienced Financial Crime professional in either Vilnius or Warsaw, to join our team and participate in implementing and overseeing Screening Data Management and List Management related controls and processes.
The Role
As the S&SC Data & List Management Senior Officer you will be directly leading projects and designing processes related to Sanctions Screening data. Your role will entail securing transparency of risks, controls and processes across Danske Bank.

This position can be located both in Poland and Lithuania. If the position is located in Lithuania, the monthly salary range will be from 3360 EUR to 5040 EUR gross (based on your competencies and experience relevant to the job profile).
Your title in job contract will be Officer - Business Risk & Controls, Senior.

In this role you will be covering:
- Defining strategic data requirements, quality frameworks, automated DQ checks and other connected processes.
- Defining requirements for the design and transformation of controls related to data within Sanctions and Screening models.
- Collaborating and facilitating and discussions with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Risk and Technology roles to address regulatory requirements, implement remediation measures and enhance controls.
- Defining and managing projects as well as preparing relevant documentation for SC&S processes.
- Handling RFI and incidents in relation to Data Management and participating in remediation activities. Implementing strategic MI as well as KPIs and KRIs for Sanctions Screening.
The Candidate

To excel in this role, you should also possess the following experiences:
- + 7 years of experience working in Sanctions and Screening programmes with ability to identify risks requiring escalation.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing and managing comprehensive Data Management Frameworks, including data governance, quality and lineage.
- Practical understanding of key payment regulations and standards.
- Proven experience of analytical monitoring techniques, combining use of both structured and unstructured data.
- Good programming skills in SQL.
- Sufficient working knowledge of Tableau and MS Office suite (in particular Excel, Power Point, and Teams).
- Advanced communication skills in English, both written and verbal. University degree (bachelor’s or master’s).
