About the role: As a Purchaser within our Procure-to-Pay (Pt P) / Accounts Payable (AP) department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our procurement process, specializing in Velocity program and purchase bookings creation. Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining strong relationships with the Accounting Team and internal stakeholders. Your main scope of duties and responsibilities include:
Actively participate in the creation of new processes, exercising control over assigned projects/migrations
Perform daily processing of purchase orders, manage order changes, and provide necessary information to the Local Organization and Vendor using Microsoft Dynamics or other booking systems
Control open purchase orders and oversee PO items in the accounting system
Approve invoices in booking systems
Resolve standard and non-standard queries and issues related to relevant processes
Support Team Members in their daily tasks
Serve as the point of contact for DFDS Polska and Local Business Units
Stabilize and standardize migrated processes
Complete other duties or tasks as requested by the Team Leader or Manager
Establish yourself as a trusted business partner and the first point of contact for the relevant Local Business Unit and Accounts Payable
Inform DFDS Polska about business/process changes in specific areas
Foster effective cross-team cooperation

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience within finance
Very good understanding of accounting processes and systems
Proficient in Excel
Strong English skills – both verbal and written
Knowledge of/experience in D365 is an asset
Independence, creativity, and openness to learning new processes
Passionate, positive attitude, and ability to build team spirit
