Product Owner
In a nutshell
This is a unique opportunity to be a key player in driving the engine of our business – Credit Risk. As the foundation of our financial operations, we recognize how critical our risk management products are to the success of the business. We are expanding our central Credit Risk team, and you’ll work with a small but highly skilled team to turn our risk management vision into reality.
You will have end to end ownership for the full product life cycle from initiation to business case to testing then launch and beyond. You will work on a project basis, working hand in hand with our IT and business teams, Ensuring that the features of the upcoming products and initiatives are clearly defined, prioritised and then adapted and delivered by development delivery teams according to business goals.
This role will be based in Warsaw but with responsibility for projects across all Digital operations and markets.

This role will be based in Warsaw but with responsibility for projects across all Digital operations and markets.
Your daily tasks:
- Develop and own the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the Business Owner’s vision, mapping actions, requirements, and priorities, and coordinating with key stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement of credit risk products, including processes, monitoring, and technical components, aligned with Credit Risk strategy.
- Collaborate with business, tech, and risk teams, ensuring the product delivers ROI and meets customer needs.
- Support and present product vision, maintain and prioritize the product backlog, and participate in Scrum activities to ensure alignment and delivery.
- Break down epics/features into actionable user stories and ensure Sprint clarity and commitment.
- Review and approve the product increments, ensure team alignment on Definition of Done/Ready, and manage dependencies between teams.
- Oversee change management, balancing business needs and resource optimization.
- Manage product risk and contribute to building the Centre of Excellence.
- Continuously seek cost-saving opportunities and treat the business as your own.
So, what skills, knowledge and experience do you have?
Skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, aligning teams and clients with the product vision.
- Fluent in business English (written and spoken) for seamless collaboration.
- Natural problem solver with a knack for creating products and processes.
- Excellent at prioritizing, with the ability to influence others and sell ideas.
- Agile project management skills and solid IT background.
- Adaptable and innovative with the ability to thrive in ambiguity.
- Engaging communicator who inspires and motivates.
Knowledge
- Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban, driving efficient product development.
- Technical understanding from working within a software development environment.
Experience
- Background in fintech or financial services, especially in consumer finance, banking, or lending platforms (desirable).
- Experience in Credit Risk management, with knowledge of managing credit portfolios and KPIs like default rates, LGD, and PD (nice to have).
- International mindset, eager to work globally with the willingness to travel frequently.
Qualifications
- Certified in Scrum or Agile (CSPO, Agile PM, PMP) or equivalent, showcasing expertise in Agile methodologies.
