Role summary
We are seeking a Product Owner to lead product development by creating precise user stories and acceptance criteria with Project Managers and development teams. This role involves translating client requirements into technical specifications, serving as the main client contact, and supporting the product roadmap. You'll also ensure stakeholder communication, validate product quality through testing, and stay abreast of industry trends to drive continuous improvements and innovation.
Responsibilities
User Story Development: Collaborate with Project Managers and development teams to draft clear and actionable user stories and define acceptance criteria.
Requirements Analysis: Collect and interpret requirements from clients and stakeholders, converting them into detailed technical specifications.
Client Interaction: Act as the primary liaison for clients, addressing inquiries and providing detailed information on product features and solutions.
Product Roadmap: Assist in developing and updating the product roadmap to align with business goals and client needs.
Stakeholder Communication: Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, organize meetings, and provide updates on product progress while collecting feedback.
Quality Assurance: Verify that product features meet the defined acceptance criteria and take part in user acceptance testing (UAT).
Product Vision: Help shape and communicate the product vision, ensuring it aligns with strategic long-term goals.
Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to suggest improvements and innovations for the product.
Continuous Improvement: Review and analyze feedback to drive enhancements in product features and development practices.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in defining and managing both business and technical requirements for software products.
Proven ability to manage and prioritize product backlogs effectively, ensuring user stories and tasks are well-defined and aligned with business objectives.
Skilled in leading backlog refinement sessions to ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are clear and actionable.
Experience working directly with customers to gather requirements, understand their needs, and provide solutions tailored to their expectations.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Agile and Scrum methodologies, with a track record of applying these practices in product development.
Advanced knowledge of Jira for managing backlogs, tracking progress, and facilitating team communication, with the ability to configure and optimize Jira workflows.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in presenting information clearly to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in English.
