We are currently recruiting for our client for the position of: Plant Business Controller . Job description:
Financial management for the manufacturing plant in Poland;
Be part of project management team working on Poland Plant set-up;
Responsible for delivering/explaining key financial information and metrics that will drive actionable/measurable results;
Ensuring the predictability of results by driving effective planning and forecasting process;
Decision support to the plant leadership for all financial planning, reporting and internal controls matters;
Lead Plant Monthly Performance Reviews, monthly Forecast and Annual Operating Plan;
Be a key member of the leadership team within the facility by effectively challenging and employing economic thinking concepts;
Play a lead role in the evaluation of major new assets within our operations leveraging local and corporate resources as needed;
Communicate and train management team on relevant financial metrics (ROCC, NPV, IRR, working capital, etc.);
Exercise stewardship of assets by ensuring our control environment and principles are understood and in place;
Understand key business drivers and effectively communicate business results;
Effectively communicate finance controls and expectations throughout European operations;
Be a champion of PBM within the wider organization;
Working cross-functionally in order to develop the best solutions for the business, actively taking part in global/European projects as assigned by Leadership Team;
Work proactively with the Finance SSC hubs to ensure robust close and reporting processes are maintained and enhanced;
Work with the Hubs and other functions in order to contribute as needed to our overall compliance regime (Tax, legal, Audit, etc).
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Finance or related role;
University degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field a plus;
Accounting knowledge and qualifications are a plus but not required. Experience in an accounting or finance related field highly advantageous;
Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence management at multiple levels;
Understand the overall MPS and Molex vision and partner with European plant management to drive actions aligned with vision;
Experience in Manufacturing Environment;
A demonstrated ability to work as a key contributor on cross functional teams;
Strong economic thinking with an ability to articulate in a variety of forms;
Strong systems knowledge (SAP or similar a plus);
Ability to work across functional areas constructively;
Results driven.
