Maintenance & Repair Team Leader (maternity cover) Container Management in RPC, Gdansk, Poland Job Purpose & Primary Job Responsibilities Leading, coordinating and supervising the team to deliver assigned tasks and internal/external customer satisfaction. Focusing on quality and process/team efficiency in order to deliver the required level of Service.
Providing direction and vision by empowering and motivating direct and indirect reports to achieve success. Creating an environment where everyone is enabled to perform to the best of their abilities.
Fostering a strong desire to succeed through actively managing performance, attracting new and developing existing talents.
Acting as a point of escalation for resolving problems related with containers maintenance and repair topics for the team, and raising any problems with the Manager when required.
Supporting the team by making decisions influencing the day-to-day business within defined authority limits.
Acting as a link between management and staff and as second level point of contact for local offices in case of queries. Maintaining and developing relationships with other departments and functional areas within the local offices, RHQ and GHQ, to optimise communication, processes and overall efficiency.
Managing daily processes in line with agreed targets, company policies, guidelines and in compliance with local governmental regulations. Monitoring and managing quality and quantity of team outputs and highlighting issues relating to support and information flow from local offices.
Ensuring efficient utilisation of electronic systems (e.g. OPUS, EOS, Control Spreadsheets, Looker and depot and terminal systems) to ensure best possible support of all operational business processes.
Fulfilling the operational objectives of the teams.
Required Skills and competencies
Bachelor qualification or equivalent working experience in logistics or shipping
Min. 3 years experience on a Team Leader position.
Fluency in English; other European languages are an asset.

Knowledge of container maintenance and repair is an asset.
