We develop functions for the vehicle powertrain, from requirements elicitation to function validation. In modern powertrains, the focus is not only on classic combustion engines but also on hybrid and purely electric configurations.

Function development for powertrain control systems on one of the topics
- driver assistance functions, longitudinal dynamic control or predictive driving
- torque coordination, operating strategy or networking functions
- transmission functions
- drivability, energy management, functional safety or security
- Derivation of software requirements, analysis, creation and implementation of functional concepts
- Testing via model / software / hardware in the loop methods
- Commissioning, application and validation in the virtual prototype or real vehicle
- Ongoing studies in the field of engineering with a focus on electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study
- Depending on the application in one or more of the above-mentioned topics, knowledge of: Script and programming languages (e.g. Python, Matlab/Simulink), control engineering, networked systems and/or system understanding of modern drive trains
- Independent, open way of working and strong motivation to work in a team
- Goal-oriented thinking and work
- High degree of flexibility, social competence, commitment and sense of responsibility
Remuneration is based on our collective wage and salary agreement. The current monthly salary for this position is EUR 979.00. From February 2025, the monthly salary for this position will be EUR 1,012.00.
