Assistant Pofessor/Asscociate Professor

at the Department of Social Science

This position includes the following duties:
conducting research in the scientific area agreed with the Head of the Department,

publishing scientific articles in peer reviewed journals,

conducting classes in accordance with the number of teaching hours assigned to a given position in the academic year, including possibly conducting classes in English,

performing administrative tasks defined by the Head of the Department.

Requirements for the candidate:
for the position of Assistant Professor:
having a doctoral degree,

a welcome degree in management, sociology and/or social communication and media,

publications in renowned scientific journals in the area of

​​

research interests,

experience in teaching,

experience in writing research applications and participation in the implementation of research projects, grants financed from domestic and foreign sources,

conducting research projects, grants financed from domestic and foreign funds are welcome,

welcome is experience in the media.

for the position of Asscociate Professor:
possession of a postdoctoral habilitation degree,

experience in writing research proposals and participating in the implementation of research projects, grants funded from domestic and foreign sources, strong motivation to conduct academic and research work, having a doctoral degree,

a welcome degree in management, sociology and/or social communication and media,

publications in renowned scientific journals in the area of

​​

research interests,

experience in teaching,

experience in writing research applications and participation in the implementation of research projects, grants financed from domestic and foreign sources,

conducting research projects, grants financed from domestic and foreign funds are welcome,

welcome is experience in the media.

and common requirements for the position of Assistant Pofessor and Asscociate Professor:

precise publication plans,

readiness to work in the research team at the Department of Social Science and publications in the field of management, sociology, social communication and media,

strong motivation to conduct scientific and research work,

a specific research area in the direction of writing a doctoral or habilitation thesis,

internship or work experience in an enterprise or university,

ability to use basic Microsoft Office and Ms Teams programs,

knowledge of English at the B2 level, defined in accordance with the European System of Language Education Description, enabling classes in this language,

knowledge of English at the C1 level, as defined in the European System for the Description of Languages, which enables classes in this language, is welcome

welcome fluent knowledge of the Polish language that enables conducting classes in this language, at least at the B2 level, determined in accordance with the European System for the Description of Language Education,

knowledge of another foreign language is welcome,

resistance to stress, independent thinking,

creativity, willingness to take up scientific challenges,

availability,

readiness to indicate Kozminski University as the first place of work,

availability to conduct classes on selected days of the week and on some weekends,

profiles on major social media (Linked In, Researchgate) or readiness to set them up.
