The role of the Analyst, Accts Payable involves providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the Smurfit West Rock organization. Processing PO and NON-PO invoice including independent proper General Ledger coding selection
Requesting necessary changes; adding new VM records according to the company policy
Provide accurate and effective document preparation and records management relative to the AP function in accordance with records retention policies and procedures
Supporting AP Team in ad-hoc tasks
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Continuing to improve the AP processes

What you need to succeed:

Proven working experience as accounts payable clerk
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Proficiency in English and in MS Office
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
