Your Role As a Workforce Coordinator, you will:
Administer all staff rosters that enable an effective balance to be achieved between optimizing staffing efficiency and maximizing staff satisfaction;
Work collaboratively with the accommodation manager and house team leader to ensure rosters are completed as per the participant support plan;
Work collaboratively with Human Resources to reflect resource needs to meet service delivery demands;
Work collaboratively with accounts to ensure that created roster alliance with participants approves funding;
Coordinate the rostering of new employees to ensure that they undertake on-site induction training in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner;
Ensure the roster is completed and available to staff in a timely manner in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services;
Ensure the roster is made available to the employees at least 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the roster;
In conjunction with the AM and TL , coordinate both planned and unplanned leave of staffing resources;
Liaise with staff regarding changes and updates to the roster and ensure all shift changes are updated on PIYC software;
Ensure all TL are submitting the roster for payroll by the second Friday afternoon;
Audit actual staff attendance against the planned roster and alert the relevant AM of discrepancies;
Audit timesheets each Monday morning for payroll processing;
Respond to and appropriately manage employee queries regarding their rosters;
Ensure you have knowledge and understanding regarding occupational health & safety requirements for staff at the workplace.
What it takes to be part of our team?
At least 1 year or more experience in rostering/scheduling management, preferably in a healthcare setting is desirable but not required.
Experience in email management, phone calls, file/database management and data entry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills both written and verbal.
