The Warehouse Supervisor plans, leads, organize and control the turnover of finished goods from Production to Product Distribution. Supervises outside Plant Product Warehousing activities such as product deposits, withdrawals, Blast freezing operations and other related activities. Ensures delivery of quality and food safe products in conformance with customer’s Products Specification Quality and Food Safety Management System Standards. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Ensure products delivered are within customer’s specification and standard, on-time and in-full. · Conducts internal monthly physical inventory against stock location system, stock movement report and inventory. · Analyzes daily, weekly and monthly stock movement report or inventory as to avoid ageing and product spoilage. · Conducts weekly random physical count on designated products as prescribed or needed, · Conducts internal physical inventory and reconciles variances. Actual count versus SAP records. · Reconciliation of product and packaging materials shortages/variances when encountered during inventory count or as needed. · Ensure orderliness, cleanliness and sanitation of warehouse facilities such as but not limited to Blast Freezers, Holding Rooms and Cold Storages to provide a safe and healthy environment at all times. · Demonstrates a high concern for the health and safety of self and others; · Checks and verifies that regular preventive maintenance of machineries and equipment are performed by the maintenance personnel periodically and that all machines and equipment are kept in good running condition and are safe to operate such as but not limited to Fork lifts, Weighing Scales, Ante-Room, Blast Freezers, Holding Rooms, Cold Storages and loading bays. · Demonstrates commitment to Company Rules and Regulations. · Undertakes special projects or technical studies as requested. · Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support of company goal or for his/her personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by his/her immediate superior. QUALIFICATIONS A. Education (preferred level) · Graduate of any 4 or 5-year course (B.S. Food Technology/ Biology or any science related course) · Computer Literate (Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point) B. Experience (the minimum level of direct experience in a similar position) · Have at least 1-2 years’ experience in warehousing supervision in a food industry. C. Technical Competencies: · Knowledge in Quality and Food Safety Management System, GMP, SSOP, HACCP, Corporate Environmental, Safety and Health Policy and Preventive Maintenance. · Knowledge in Warehouse Management and Product Knowledge. · Good Communication skills both oral and written. · Excellent leadership and inter-personal skills
