Job purpose
· This position is responsible for driving vehicles, trailers, used in the delivery of stocks and other products.
Duties and responsibilities
· Operates the huge trailer vehicle, 4 to 6 wheeler and other types of delivery vehicles; and safely drives to its destinations.
· Checks vehicle prior to each assignment to ensure safety and drive to the assigned destination in a safe manner.
· Accomplishes the necessary documentations required for the use of the vehicles.
· Take instructions for delivery and assist loaders in loading and unloading goods.
· Makes sure that the vehicle is fueled properly by perform maintenance checks such as adding oil or radiator fluid before and after use.
· Ensures tire pressure is accurate and greasing is done appropriately.
· Ensure that all related paperwork is present before setting out to the delivery destination.
· Delivers stocks to different addresses and destinations, following route and time schedule.
· Ensures that the items are secured on the trailer, and make sure that the items are secured properly.
· Perform inventory and inspection of goods to ensure standardization, observing the company rules, policies and instructions.
· Handle minor repairs on the vehicle.
· Maneuvers that trailer in loading and unloading positions.
· Cleans vehicles after each delivery.
· Monitor expiration and renewal of vehicle registration and driver’s license.
· Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and competencies
Qualifications include:

• A high school diploma, vocational diploma/ short course certificate.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• License restriction 1 2 3/8 professional driving license.
• Experience in delivery of commodities in the related field of industry.
• Honest and reliable.

Working conditions and Physical Requirements

• Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Moderate walking, standing, and/or climbing; heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Work outside and inside; work around machinery with moving parts; work around moving objects or vehicles; exposure to dampness and humidity; work on ladders and scaffolding; exposure to slippery and uneven surfaces.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php500.00 - Php600.00 per day
