Technical Assistant (Building and Facilities Maintenance)
Job Summary :

Job Type: Full-time
Benefits:
- Attends technical concerns of internal and external Tenants related to their daily operation. Performs under direction installation, repairs, replacement and testing electrical circuits, equipment and appliances using hand tools and testing instruments, to supply electrical power for lightings and equipment operations in the building.
- Coordination with other group members to ensure proper work distribution as planned.
- Checks and monitors the equipment status if properly operational
- Renders assistance in preparation of weekly accomplishment report for Engineering Department
- Renders assistance in facilitating the weekly meeting of Engineering Department
- Inspects and tests electrical lightings, signal, communication, power circuits and equipment.
- Examines, tests and repairs such elements of system as distribution panel, control , circuit fixtures and motors to locate obvious faults, such as blown fuses, short circuits , broken wires, loose connections, or overheated motors.
- Replaces faulty switches, socket, plugs fuses, insulation and other simple elements of electrical system, fixtures and appliances.
- Installs new wirings and electrical machinery to meet safety requirements of the Philippines Electrical Code.
- Prepares daily man–hour reports
- Performs/implements scheduled maintenance and routine check-ups on the facility, equipment and utilities based on approved Preventive Maintenance Program.
- Accomplish proper documentation of maintenance and repairs pending and completed.
- Monitors the replacement of busted lights if needed.
- Checking of equipment status if properly operational.
- Monitors and checks the emergency lights if it is functioning
- Checks the electrical and A/C system of tenants and building with comments and recommendation
- Inspects and retightens all breaker lugs at electrical room
- Records monthly meter reading (ELECTRIC and WATER)
- Cleans the condenser coil and filter of chillers and AHUs.
- Checks and responds to each Tenant’s concerns on Engineering / technical aspect of operation.
- With initiative and persistence to act on matters or concerns related to Engineering works whenever an appropriate action is needed.
- Oversees contractors’ works when a service from a 3rd party / specialty contractor is necessary or inevitable.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned by Engineers, Group Head from time to time.
- Job Qualifications
- Preferably with at least 1 year experience in Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery), although FRESH GRADUATES ARE WELCOME TO APPLY
