What your day looks like
You will be highly involved in planning, reporting and analysis of sales, credit, and collections management. You will provide support to all transactional and back-office sales finance processes and ad-hoc modelling support to various sales initiatives.
Your core responsibilities include:
Provide overall financial reporting oversight on areas of Sales Office (SO) sales, inventory, remittance and receivables data at the nationwide consolidated level
Provide assurance on the accuracy and completeness of reported sales and inventory movements, consolidated for all SOs, in order to stay in sync with PM Financial Reporting standards and to provide decision support to Management.
Support the development and design of reports from processes emanating from or directly affecting SOs in coordination with Internal Controls, Treasury, Financial Reporting, and Tax
Provide decision support to Sales Management while ensuring adherence to financial controls and forecasting a collaborative relationship with internal customers
Supervise and monitor the report submission by SOs to ensure that timelines are met
Review and analyze regular Finance-related reports & ensure that all Sales and Inventory Reports and procedures within the sub-function enforce with relevant PM Principles and Practices
In coordination with Finance Management and HR, accountable of the development and coaching needs of the team members
What you need to have
With College or University degree in Accounting or Business course; a master’s degree or equivalent in business management and/or C.P.A. qualification is preferred but not required
At least 8 years work experience, handling or overseeing an accounting, financial support, or audit function, preferably in a multinational company; If only audit experience, this will not qualify
Experience in budget preparation, financial modelling and management reporting for at least 2 years is required
Proven supervisory/managerial capacity for at least 5 years
Exposure in direct sales or distribution company of a fast-paced consumer goods is a definite advantage
Ability to work with minimal supervision and competent to meet tight deadlines
Possess effective communication skills, strong numerical and analytical skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and SAP
Work Schedule and Location
Generally Mondays to Fridays, 8AM - 5PM
Saturdays, 8AM - 12NN Based in Calapan / Puerto Princesa Sales Office
