As a
Warehouse Supervisor, he oversees the overall production process and ensures all merchandise items received are complete and in good condition. The warehouse supervisor assists the warehouse manager from to monitor their production activities.
Job Responsibilities:
Determines correct staffing levels and properly assigning workload to subordinates. This includes overall responsibility for all aspects of the supervision, training and development of your team.
Plans and coordinates incoming goods, storage and dispatch of items in a timely and efficient manner. This includes the receipt of all shipments, the processing of the received items and reporting any discrepancies to the concerned department and responsible merchandiser.
Observes proper loading, unloading, stocking and safekeeping of items to maintain the quality of finished order to prevent product damages and avoid occurrence of accidents.
Ensures inventory accuracy in SAP by organizing periodic cycle counts and actual stock counts.
Conducts regular cycle count per category or area to prevent inventory discrepancies.
In case of inventory variance, the warehouse head must analyze and evaluate these variances per cycle count and provides immediate solution to reduce the variance.
Identify areas of improvement in the warehouse including space management and allocation and transportation in between warehouse sites so that the items are not lost or damaged while in storage.
