Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale
Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients in person and via telephone calls and emails
Cold call to arrange meetings with potential clients to prospect for new business
Respond to incoming email and phone inquiries
Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
Gather market and customer information
Challenge any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions
Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process, which is largely dictated by the prospective clients
Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing client with quotations.
Job Requirements:
Must be a graduate of Customs Administration. Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Tourism Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Advertising or equivalent
Proven experience of at least 2 years in Sales and Marketing in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Brokerage industry
With existing accounts and knows the local market in CDO
Someone who is okay working in a small team or start-up setup
Friendly and outgoing personality
Self-starter who can work with little supervision
Goal-oriented with the ability to track and achieve KPIs
