Summary: Our client a leading Insurance and underwriting company is currently seeking for an experience Finance Analyst. The ideal candidate needs to have excellent organizational skills, strong analytical thinking and great numerical skills. Key Responsibilities:
Perform financial analysis based on actual and forecasted data.
Prepare relevant financial models and reports using IBM Planning Analytics TM1
Assist the FP&A Lead in all relevant financial planning and analysis functions, including but not limited to report preparations, variance analysis, budget preparations and finalization, forecasting and budgeting, and other FP&A-related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of underlying financial data for management reporting, performing completeness checking and practicing professional skepticism at all times.
Prepare debit notes including supporting details for billing charges to Tech COE affiliates, including monitoring of postings made by affiliates to the system.
Prepare cost allocation files to support advance billings to affiliates, including monitoring of postings made by affiliates to the system.
Provide support to FP&A-related projects, including but not limited to process efficiencies, internal controls, and internal and external process improvements.
Coordinate with other finance functions and other departments in resolving reconciling items.
Perform ad hoc tasks assigned from time to time
Requirements:
A graduate of BS Accountancy, Financial Management, Mathematics, Economics, Management Engineering, or other relevant undergraduate programs.
A professional qualification (e.g. CA/CPA/CMA/CFA) is preferred but not required.
At least 3 years of experience as a finance analyst or in a similar role.
Good attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
With experience in IBM Planning Analytics TM1 is preferred but not required.
With experience in ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Netsuite) is highly preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Can work under minimal supervision.
Can work under pressure.
