JOB SUMMARY The Refrigeration Technician undertakes daily upkeep and operational continuity of the of the plant’s refrigerating equipment and auxiliary cold storage equipment under the supervision of the Plant Reliability Engineer and in coordination with Warehouse Operations. He observes the company’s asset management policies and procedures. The Refrigeration Technician helps monitor, review and evaluate the operational performance of all refrigeration and auxiliary equipment installed at all of the plant’s commercial spaces, freezing, blast freezing, ante room, loading area, plug-in and processing room including physical count, usage, losses and management of the fixed assets and other related activities that are relevant to support uninterrupted revenue generation of the cold storage facilities. He keep abreast of knowledge and application of prescribed plant maintenance processes and procedures, plant operating standards, fixed asset management policies and other standards necessary to enhance continuity of the plant’s functions. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertake daily upkeep and operational continuity of the of the plant’s refrigerating facilities, utilities and auxiliary cold storage equipment under the supervision of the Plant Reliability Engineer.
Observes the company’s asset management policies and procedures.
Monitor, review and evaluate the operational performance of all refrigeration and auxiliary equipment installed at the plant in support of uninterrupted revenue generation of the cold storage facilities.
Keep abreast of knowledge and application of prescribed plant maintenance processes and procedures, standards, management policies and various other standards necessary for continuity of the plant’s functions.
QUALIFICATIONS The Refrigeration Technician must at least have
TESDA certified NC-2 Level, vocational diploma or short-course certificate.
At least 3 years of working experience in related field.
Experience in Cold storage system maintenance operations.
