1. Ensures operation of radiology equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques. 2. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations. 3. Prepares patients for radiological procedures by instructing patients properly during and after x-ray procedure. 4. Gain patient cooperation and lower their anxiety by talking to the patient through the procedure and answering their questions. 5. Contribute to efficient operation by assisting radiologists for any x-ray reading concern. 6. Maintain adequate inventory of supplies in the X-ray Department by managing, checking, and requesting replenishment as needed. 7. Documents patient care services by keeping x-ray logbooks complete and updated at all times. 8. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related and necessary results as needed. 9. Accurately measure success of the organization’s operations by reporting X-Ray Department’s performance indicators like Turn-Around-Time (TAT), etc. to the management.
