Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the mine site accounting and finance department to ensure proper adherence to policies and procedures
• Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Review Payment Request Forms, Accounts Payable Vouchers, Check Vouchers, payroll, and other related accounting forms
• Prepare/review Journal Vouchers
• Review and prepare analysis on statements and reports (as requested by the Head Office and department heads)
• Review monthly, quarterly, annual, and special reports for internal reporting (e.g., management reports) and government filing (e.g., BIR and MGB reports)
• Work with various departments to manage budgets, expenditures and submit cash flow reports as requested
• Supervises team members in duties and performance, providing feedback where necessary and reporting team strengths and weaknesses to management
• Motivates, guides, and mentors team members to exceed goals and creates a positive environment

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• 2-3 years of experience in the same capacity
• Preferably a CPA
• Willing to relocate to Brooke's Point Palawan
