Job Summary:
The Medical Representative (Sales and Marketing Specialist) is responsible for promoting and selling healthcare products, including pharmaceutical drugs, medical equipment, and supplies, to healthcare professionals and institutions. This role combines sales acumen with marketing strategies to create effective communication with key stakeholders, including doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies. The objective is to increase product awareness, maximize sales revenue, and build long-term professional relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify and approach potential clients within the healthcare sector, including hospitals, clinics, doctors, and pharmacists.
  • Develop sales strategies to meet or exceed targets in assigned territories.
  • Conduct product presentations and detailed demonstrations to healthcare professionals.
  • Promote and sell healthcare products and solutions, ensuring deep product knowledge.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients.
  • Marketing and Promotion:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement campaigns and promotional strategies.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales tactics.
  • Organize and participate in medical conferences, trade shows, and workshops to showcase products.
  • Utilize digital marketing tools (e.g., social media, email campaigns) to engage clients.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and organizations.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and feedback.
  • Ensure regular follow-ups to reinforce customer relationships and provide post-sales support.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and territory analysis to track performance and inform management.
  • Provide feedback on market conditions, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Compliance and Education:
  • Stay updated on new product developments, medical trends, and industry regulations.
  • Educate healthcare professionals about product features, benefits, and correct usage.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines in all marketing and sales activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a medical-related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of medical products and the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
