The Junior Social worker will be working at our aftercare shelter. In our shelter, survivors of online exploitation have a safe place to heal and recover from the trauma and abuse of their past. The Social Worker works under the supervision of the Senior Social Worker and our Executive Director. Responsibilities of the Social Worker:
Assessment: Conducting assessments of our clients, families, and communities to determine their social, emotional, and economic needs.
Planning and Implementation: Developing and implementing plans to address the identified needs and to improve the well-being of clients.
Case Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of clients, including progress notes, case plans, and treatment plans.
Counseling: Providing individual, family, and group counseling to clients to help them address personal and social issues.
Advocacy: Advocating for clients and working with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community groups to secure necessary resources and support.
Community Outreach: Engaging in community outreach activities to promote awareness about social work services and to identify potential clients.
Collaboration: Collaborating with other professionals, such as psychologists, doctors, and lawyers, to provide comprehensive care to clients.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited University.
Registered Social Worker (RSW) by the Professional Regulation Commission, Republic of the Philippines.
Strong case management experience and skills.
Relevant experience is a plus but not required.
