As the Head of Compliance for MOAI, you will have overall responsibility to lead the compliance function in one of Ericsson’s most innovative and exciting regions. You will be serving a diverse set of business and organizational units across the region and have full accountability for all matters related to anti-bribery, corruption and fraud compliance,
Ericsson’s Compliance Office has direct responsibility for all components of Ericsson’s Ethics and Compliance Program. You will be responsible for driving an integrity-led culture across the region; implementing key Ethics & Compliance policies and procedures, notably through trainings and communication initiatives; carry out risk assessments on your different units and countries of responsibility; oversee third party due diligence and monitoring initiatives; work with the Corporate and Government Investigations, Legal Affairs and People teams to lead remediation activities arising of investigations; and report to stakeholders about the effectiveness and status of implementation of the Ethics & Compliance program.
In this exciting role, you will also lead and ensure the development of a high performing and diverse team of Compliance Officers and will collaborate with other key Group and Market Area Assurance functions, leadership teams and the global Compliance organization.
The role is hybrid (in office and remote). The position can be located in any city with an Ericsson office in Southeast Asia, Oceania and India, with a preference for India or Philippines.
In this role you will be expected to:
Lead and manage all aspects of the region’s Ethics & Compliance program.
Act as a solution-oriented trusted advisor, actively supporting your business stakeholders in proactively managing compliance risks, providing expert advice and practical problem-solving.
Drive a robust culture of Ethics & Compliance, creating a safe environment for all employees to speak up about compliance concerns and report misconduct.
Oversee, together with colleagues in Compliance and in other group functions, the engagement and monitoring of third parties.
Lead training, with the support of other Compliance colleagues, of stakeholders on compliance topics.
Assess and manage actual or potential conflicts of interest, expenditure risks and engagements with public officials.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Strong ethics & compliance credentials, including at least 10 years of experience in an ethics & compliance leadership role in a multinational organization.
A legal background is preferred.
Experience operating in the Asia Pacific region, including in high risk markets and industries from a bribery, corruption, and fraud point of view.
Proven track record of successfully partnering and collaborating with senior business, commercial and functional leaders to successfully identify and manage risks for the organization.
