Job Summary Primary responsibility of Field Sales Associate is to ensure collections of payment from customers and correct deliveries of their orders on time. Duties and Responsibilities Sales & Customer Service Secures the correct orders of the customers from the company’s list of products; Ensures the timely delivery of the stocks of the customers; Conducts regular visitation of all designated accounts based on route plan; Informing customers of promotional activities trade programs, new products, updated prices, forms, packaging etc., Checks customers stocks inventory and book orders needed to replenish their requirements; Suggests proper storage, stocks rotation, displays and other merchandising ideas intended to preserve quality and promote sales; Maintains good relationship and rapport with the customers and their personnel; Prepared and able to answer questions, comments on matters of the product and services pertaining to company; Gives immediate feedback or action to customers’ concerns on next visit; Provides accurate solutions to customers’ complaints; Collection Collects customers payment promptly to prevent delays and remit the collection to Credit and Collection Department everyday by standard means; Takes the initiative in the control of accounts by: Manages account receivables; Recommends the extension of credit terms, increase credit limit of customers that are prompt in complying with Company’s terms, conditions, policies; Decrease or reduce credit limit, limits extension of promissory payments of bad accounts; Restricts credit limits with trouble in payment and recommends appropriate actions until compliance with credit policies; Ensures correct and complete remittances of customers’ payment to Credit and Collection every day; Keeps customers updated and well informed about the company’s Credit and Collection’s Collection Policies, Guidelines, and Limitations; Keeps accurate updated records of customers’ accounts, sales invoices, return slip, RUD and receipts of payment; Inform Sales Department and Credit and Collection regarding customers’ paying habits; Monitors and collects all accountabilities of customers; Ensures account receivables and documents are updated and intact; Reconciles statement of accounts of customers with Credit and Collection; Persistent follow up on collecting bad accounts and recommends legal action if necessary; Planning and Organization Organizes plans and assess methodology in assigned area for most efficient, productive, and profitable coverage; Adapts to new technology and transform to improve customer relationship, services and overall activities; Organizes route plan of customers’ in accordance with sequential routing system of coverage/delivery; Organizes monthly route plan as the basis for regular coverage of all customers; Maintains a standard daily customer’s visitation based on assigned route per day; Plans and executes most efficient and effective method for handling sales presentation, trade programs and services; Maximize and utilize sales promotion materials provided by the company; Coordinates with DSM with preparation of sales tools and materials; Coordinates with DSM regarding sales target, forecast and problems on sales; Coordinates well with TSR Counterpart for Principal products, sales strategy, suggestions, follow up of customers’ due, and customer complaints; Briefs panel crew on the route plan and objectives of the day; Maintains harmonious relationship with different Department within the company; Develop new trade accounts opened by Trade Sales Representatives; Delivery Maintains proper care, maintenance, handling and use of company properties; Ensures the proper handling of stocks are observed in accordance to GDSP; Ensures that Helper and Delivery Driver are following procedures of Good Stock Handling and Carrying in accordance to GDSP; Ensures vehicle is park in safe place; Maintains product quality throughout the delivery process; Administrative Proper handling and utilize of sales promotional materials and all other issued by the company; Facilitates the customers information sheet application, ensure to fill out completely all required data and attached necessary documents; Submits trade programs, survey, forms, and other reports on time; Pick up and report trade returns within specified time with necessary attached documents, return/replace stocks as soon as possible. Inform and clarify to customers regarding company’s new policies and procedures; Others Supports the District Sales Manager and National Sales Manager in developing programs, policies and procedures relative to the improvement of the Department and its services; Abides by the company rules and regulations implemented with regards to policies and procedures, Quality Management, and in the Employee’s Handbook; and Performs other duties that may be assigned by the District Sales Manager or Sales Director.
