The Feed Formulation and R&D Specialist is responsible for the Feeds Formulations and Research and Development for the Feed Manufacturing Operations. Mainly responsible for New Feeds Products Improvement, and Contingents of Alternative Meal Supplies.
Duties and Responsible:
1. Reformulation of diets using BRILL feed formulation software
2. Provide feed formulation support to other departments and internal customers
3. Maintain, update and safely keep the formulation database
4. Regularly manage and maintain feed formula
5. Develop substitute materials during challenging supply availability and price changes of feed ingredients
6. Work with feed mill operations regarding feed production challenges
7. Perform any tasks assigned by the superior and the management
R&D
1. Formulate trial protocol and conduct feed testing
2. Coordinate feeding trials, monitor actual testing, and generate trial reports
3. Research on trends and animal nutrition advancement related to company operations and strategies
4. Coordinate with internal and external laboratories related to formulation and research
5. Coordinate with product and brand managers for product management and reformulation
6. Help with tracking nutrition and performance data related to nutritional changes
7. Closely coordinate feed quality and technology department
8. Perform any tasks assigned by the superior and the management
Qualifications:
-Graduate of BS Agriculture Major in Animal Science, specialization in Animal Nutrition
-With experience with formulation BRILL formulation software
-At least two (2) years of experience in feed manufacturing operations
-Experience with implementing effective QA/QC programs required
-Strong in documentation and recording
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
