Job Summary: Handles and efficiently operates Ground Support Equipment by the manufacturer and customer airline(s) requirements to ensure safe and secure operations. Role Functions and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe operation of the equipment assigned.
Conducts equipment physical and operational checks, accomplishes checklist, and ensures good operational condition upon acceptance
Tows all cargo and baggage pushcarts to and from the cargo warehouse and baggage build-up area.
Ensures that the cargo towed-out is accepted by the DS-Ramp assigned at the planes
Safely operates and connects the Ground Services Equipment to the aircraft
Performs the required brake checks before approaching the aircraft
After operations, safely parks the equipment to their respective parking areas, accomplishes checklist and complies with the proper turnover procedures.
Completes unloading/loading of baggage and cargo to/from the corresponding compartment within the prescribed time by the carrier.
Ensures proper usage and handling of all flight-related equipment (e.g. cones, chocks, air stairs/aviramp, ULD, tail stand, trolley, umbrella, etc.)
Qualifications:
High school graduates are accepted for the role
Must have active LTO Professional Driver's License (with 1,2 or 1,2,3 restriction code)
With at least 1 year of driving a 4wheel vehicle
Preferably with NBI (6 months validity)
