Job Description: · Manage and supervise the daily operations of the motorpool, including vehicle maintenance, repairs, and servicing schedules. · Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition, minimizing downtime. · Oversee the procurement of parts, materials, and equipment necessary for vehicle maintenance and repairs. · Establish and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safe operation of vehicles. · Monitor and analyze motorpool operations to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness. · Lead a team of mechanics and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. · Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, and inventory. · Collaborate with other departments to ensure vehicles meet operational requirements and standards. · Liaising with existing staff members, department heads, managers, supervisors, and clients in order to achieve set goals. · Observing, analyzing, and offering suggestions on current operations. · Scheduling meetings and training sessions with staff and other department heads/managers · Performs necessary tasks as instructed by the management Qualifications: · Proven experience in a leadership role within a motor pool or fleet management setting. · Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, and logistical operations. · Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. · Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation. · Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to fleet operations. · Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize motor pool efficiency. · Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or a related field (preferred but not required).
