Credit and Collection Head
- Job Function
Job Role, Functions and Responsibilities
1. Provides strategic direction and leadership for the Credit and Collection department.
2. Develops and implement credit and collection strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
3. Evaluates credit risks associated with potential and existing clients.
4. Monitors credit limits based on risk assessments.
5. Oversees the collection process, ensuring timely and effective recovery of outstanding receivables.
6. Implements best practices to optimize collection efforts.
7. Leads and mentor a team of credit and collection professionals.
8. Develops and updates credit and collection policies in compliance with regulatory requirements.
9. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and sales, to address credit and collection challenges.
10. Prepares and present regular reports on credit and collection performance to senior management.
11. Conducts data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
12. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to facilitate effective communication regarding credit terms and collections.
