Working alongside the team, the primary aim of this role is to apply to relevant funds for the foundation (this can include charities that have funds for education, women, children, and special needs). The successful applicant will be driven, be able to take initiative and work independently when required. They will have experience working in the charity sector, and ideally in fundraising, and will be based in Urubamba. Further tasks include helping with fundraising events and campaigns, arranging workshops at the Sol y Luna School and Home, taking visitors on visits to the school and home, and contacting donors for future projects.
Candidate requirements:
· University level degree
· Experience working in the charity sector
· Effective and efficient
· Motivated, practical and trustworthy
· Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
· Affinity with and love for children
· Passionate about philanthropy, education and travel
· Strong levels of written communication
· Fluent in English and Spanish
