Job description
Monjasa is a leading global partner in the oil and shipping industry who believes strongly in driving Personal Business. We are thus on the lookout for a colleague who can identify with Monjasa’s values and is capable of building strong relations both internally and externally.
As the newest member, you will join a proactive and knowledgeable team passionate about the industry, whether as part of the Houston, Panama, or Colombia trading team based in Panama. You will be integrated into a larger network of 25 traders and 4 assistants, covering the Americas while collaborating closely with our global offices.
Your role will be crucial in driving sales, managing the purchase of bunker fuel, and planning logistics to optimize value. You will focus on fostering relationships with clients and suppliers, expanding our business into new and existing markets. Expect a vibrant and varied day-to-day experience that demands professional creativity, innovative thinking, and offers extensive international exposure. - Provide expert advice on bunker solutions and handle important customer accounts with skill.
- Support our team by keeping an eye on port activities and managing logistics.
- Work effectively on international projects and answer inquiries promptly.
- Fluent in English; good Spanish skills are a plus.
Your personal skills
- Good at selling and negotiating.
- Experience in shipping, maritime, or oil industries is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communicator, highly motivated, customer-focused, detail-oriented, can work alone or in a team.
