Position Overview In a fast paced, high expectation, results oriented environment, the Attorney Network Management Team Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and maintaining a network of law firms across the USA.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team responsible for managing reports submitted by outside counsel and selecting law firms to represent WBL in foreclosures, evictions, bankruptcy and other litigation matters across the USA.
Audit legal invoices to ensure alignment with the respective engagement letter and litigation tracking report.
Maintain and store engagement letters with law firms, ensuring compliance with agreed terms.
Conduct research to identify qualified law firms for WBL services, utilizing reviews, ratings, and other resources.
Maintain a nationwide database of attorneys with potential to work for WBL, regularly updating and removing firms that do not meet WBL's quality standards.
Request proposals and ensure completion of necessary forms from law firms, including, but not limited to, monthly litigation tracking reports.
Organize workflows and manage deadlines for attorney bidding processes for each case.
Monitor and report information received from law firms, including budgets for each assigned case.
Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements
Experience in a Law environment such as working as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant is desirable.
Excellent organizational, communication (both written and verbal) and computer skills.
Experience with and working knowledge of U.S. federal and state commercial lending and loan brokering laws, rules and regulations, and licensing requirements, and laws, rules, regulations governing U.S. financial institutions preferred.
