We are looking for an experienced and passionate Word Press Developer to join our IT team! As a Word Press Developer at our company, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating Word Press themes and plugins. We are expecting you to have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems. Duties and Responsibilities
Designing and implementing new features and functionality
Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
Requirements and Qualifications
Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, Java Script, j Query
Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
Technical skills:
Strong proficiency in Java Script, including DOM manipulation and the Java Script object model
Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
Prior experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
Familiarity with more current specifications of Ecma Script
Prior experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Familiarity with HTML / CSS
GIT experience is a plus
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Familiarity with code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}
