Quality Assurance Engineer (Contractual) - Qureos
Job Summary: As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and ensuring the overall quality of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that our software meets or exceeds user expectations and company standards.

- Test Planning & Execution: Develop, document, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, performance).
- Defect Tracking: Identify, log, and track defects to resolution using appropriate tools (e.g., JIRA). Work closely with developers and designer to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and ensure high-quality releases.
- Reporting: Provide clear and concise reports on test results, defect status, and quality metrics to stakeholders. Participate in regular QA status meetings.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in QA. Propose improvements to the QA process and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, including experience in testing web and mobile applications.
- Experience with QA tools such as Cypress, JIRA, etc.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
