We pride ourselves on fostering a respectful and growth-oriented work environment. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our finance team as a Finance Executive. Position Overview: The Finance Executive will oversee the functional and administrative responsibilities of the accounts department. This role requires a committed professional with experience in finance, particularly within the travel industry, who is ready to contribute to and grow with our team. Key Responsibilities:
Management & Supervision: Oversee and manage the functional and administrative duties of the Accounts department.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures; prepare and report periodic and year-end financial statements.
Budgeting & Management Reporting: Prepare budgets in coordination with divisional managers and the General Manager; manage Management Information Systems (MIS) reporting.
Coordination: Work closely with division heads, senior management, auditors, and maintain banking relationships.
Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal requirements such as commercial registrations, civil aviation regulations, and municipal licenses.
Customer & Supplier Relations: Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners; manage airline and supplier incentives, fixed assets, and prepayments.
Reconciliation & Invoicing: Oversee BSP reconciliation, general invoicing, credit limits, refunds, and petty cash.
Company Policy: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Experience: This position is intended for experienced professionals. Fresh graduates will not be considered.
Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An MBA in Finance or M.Com is advantageous.
Skills:
Proficiency with Travel Industry Accounting Systems (e.g., Catalyst).
Strong understanding of travel industry finance and accounts procedures.
Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
Capable of planning, organizing, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiar with IT tools and processes.
Knowledge of world geography and travel agency systems (front, mid, and back office).
Languages: Fluent in English (written and oral). Proficiency in Arabic or other international languages is a plus.
Special Conditions: Flexibility with working hours is required, including potential work outside normal business hours and shifts.
