NOV Process Systems is seeking an experienced and dedicated QA Manager to join our team in Oslo. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining NOV's QA activities within Process Systems Oslo. You will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our operations. Key Responsibilities:
Draft, verify, comment on, and review QA documentation while actively participating in internal and external Quality meetings, including those with clients.
Support functional managers and team leaders in developing procedures, and maintain effective relationships with external QA providers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective outcomes.
Conduct and manage audits to ensure compliance with both internal and external requirements, including planning and performing system audits and ISO 9001 certification audits.
Address and rectify gaps or inconsistencies between office processes, manage the NCR/Improvement process, and track the resolution of NCRs and improvements.
Provide QA support to clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers, and assist process onwers & project team members in implementing PEM acrossc all projects
Coordinate emergency management response activities and serve as the global point of contact for incidents on a 24/7 basis.
Qualifications:
BSc/MSc in Engineering with a strong technical background.
At least 5 years of experience in QA, including expertise in QA inspections, statistics, and indicators.
Proven experience in coordinating and networking across multiple countries and cultures at a global level.
Third-Party Certified Auditor in current ISO standards, with the ability to manage ISO 9001 certification and audits.
Willingness to travel internationally and be on-call for emergency situations outside regular hours.
Proficiency in Microsoft Share Point, including site development, maintenance, and backend database management.
Strong skills in statistics, analytical methods, and data interpretation for reporting purposes.
High proficiency in Excel and general computer skills, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new programs.
Fluent in English, both oral and written.
Proactive, innovative, and focused on continuous improvement.
