We are currently searching for new bartending talents to join one of our 2 bars Hub Bar is a cool city bar to swing by and chill out with friends or colleagues after a busy day in the capital – and eat fresh, tasty food, sip a scintillating cocktail or mocktail and unwind. This is the place to be if you fancy a quick bite to eat with tasty, fresh dishes from the "all day menu"; or meet for an informal work meeting, or grab a coffee and gossip; or even stop by before an evening concert. Watch the hustle and bustle of city life and savor our superb wine list, alongside craft beers from local microbreweries, scrummy cocktails and mocktails and relax into the night. Calmeyers Hage is located on the 13th floor of the Clarion Hotel® the Hub, together with restaurant Norda. The nature-inspired decor is colorful and inviting, and the perfect place to enjoy cocktails made from Nordic-distilled spirits (such as BAREKSTEN and HIMKOK), alongside dishes made with fresh, local ingredients and herbs from our very own rooftop garden. Clameyers Hage offers a lovely setting with fine drinks and a relaxing terrace - the perfect place for a fantastic evening with friends or colleagues!
What’s the job like? As a bartender, you are the orchestrator of the bar and responsible for curating unforgettable experiences through your expertly crafted cocktails and attentive service. You are the storyteller who will engage our guests with your knowledge and leave a lasting impression. Your main work tasks include:
Serving food and drinks to the bar's guests
Quality assurance of service and product
Contribute to the development of bar charts and menus
Contribute to the development of colleagues and the environment
Payment handling
Comply with the Norwegian alcohol law
The position involves shift work on weekdays and weekends. We are offering different positions: 20-100% permanent positions, 20-100% temporary positions, and extra help / on-call. You have a clear service focus and you see challenges as something positive, not problems.
You have relevant experience and good knowledge of spirits, mixology techniques, and flavor profiles.
You are good with multitasking whether it’s behind the bar or on the floor.
You are keen to deliver high quality in everything you do and always go the extra mile to exceed the guest's expectations.
You recognize yourself in our values, which are energy, courage and enthusiasm.
The position requires that you can communicate well in Norwegian and/or English.
