Responsibilities
- Continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, and knowledge about safety and health matters in the organization.
- Coordinate training programs for employees and educating workers about site safety measures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety issues and enforce preventative measures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for safety inspections, incidents and training.
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on safety-related matters.
- Making regular site inspections and planning safe working practices and making necessary changes
- First degree in relevant field with 2-3 years of work experience in a similar role
- HSE certification will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office Packages
- Good communication Skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to enforce safety procedures and protocols
- Knowledge of first-aid techniques
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety.
