Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Personnel to join our team at [Fashion House Name].
- The ideal candidate will ensure that all garments meet the highest standards of quality before reaching our customers.
- You will be responsible for inspecting materials, ensuring product consistency, and identifying any defects. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality, we encourage you to apply!
- Inspect raw materials, fabrics, trims, and finished garments to ensure they meet the company's quality standards.
- Conduct in-line and final inspections throughout the production process.
- Identify defects, inconsistencies, or damages in garments and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Ensure compliance with industry and safety standards.
- Monitor and ensure all production processes adhere to the company’s quality standards and guidelines.
- Train production staff on quality control measures and best practices.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and recommend improvements.
- Measure and test garment fit, stitching, construction, and overall appearance based on set criteria.
- Keep detailed records of inspections, defects, and quality control reports.
- Work closely with the design and production teams to identify potential quality challenges in new designs
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; a degree or certification in Textile Science, Fashion Design, or a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in quality control in the clothing or textile industry is preferred.
- Proven experience in quality control, preferably in the fashion or textile industry.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects and inconsistencies.
- Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to use measuring tools and testing equipment to assess garment quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of industry quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production schedules.
- Strong work ethic and reliability in meeting deadlines.
- Competitive salary based on experience (N80,000 - N100,000 Monthly).
