Our vision for our Project Manager is to represent the Smollan IT business unit within the cluster, working across regions, teams, and solutions. They would ultimately work on one of our core system projects, along with other ERP solutions, people systems, and internal client projects. They would ideally have experience taking an unstructured environment, where they implemented PM processes and procedures, formalizing a new way of working. This person would be working across the different technical teams and therefore should have experience leading projects that developed complex technical solutions. Job Summary: To define project objectives and plan, execute and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budgets. This includes acquiring resources and co-ordinating the efforts of team members and external vendors in order to deliver projects according to plan.
Responsibilities: Client Management

Management of Expense Budget for IT Projects
Set and agree budgets with IT General Manager

Receive project brief from business
Determine project objectives, scope, deliverables, assumptions etc.
Meet relevant stakeholders and liaise with internal and external developers / persons regarding requirements
Apply project management processes through the phases of the project life cycle
Create and chair steering committees when required
Ensure appropriate resolution for tasks/deadlines not met
Manage effective project execution and closure

Minimum Qualifications: Diploma or Degree/NQF level 7 Minimum Experience: 6 - 8 years of IT technology and systems development life cycle experience with 2-3+ years of project implementation experience essential. General understanding of application programming, database, systems design, architecture and infrastructure Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
