Job Title: Production Head (Small Chops) Location: Lekki Company: UNCLE STAN'S FOOD Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Production Head with expertise in small chops production for a quick service restaurant (QSR). The ideal candidate will oversee daily production, ensure consistent quality, and train kitchen staff on the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for small chops. You will play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency, improving processes, and driving product innovation. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily production of small chops, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met. Develop and implement production schedules and workflows to meet customer demands and minimize waste. Train and mentor kitchen staff on the company’s SOPs, ensuring adherence to hygiene, food safety, and quality standards. Supervise kitchen operations to ensure efficiency in production, from preparation to packaging and service. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, place orders, and manage stock to prevent shortages. Collaborate with management to innovate and introduce new small chops recipes or improve existing ones. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen at all times. Evaluate staff performance and recommend additional training or process improvements where necessary. Handle any operational challenges with swift solutions to maintain smooth production flow. Assist in hiring kitchen staff as needed, ensuring they meet the company’s skill requirements. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in small chops production within a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) setting. Proven track record in training and mentoring kitchen staff. Deep understanding of small chops recipes, production processes, and industry standards. Excellent knowledge of kitchen equipment, safety procedures, and food handling regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product consistency and quality. Experience in managing inventory and ensuring cost-effective production practices. Preferred Skills: Creative flair for recipe development and product innovation. Ability to analyze production data and suggest improvements. Knowledge of local and international small chops varieties is a plus.
