Job Responsibilties
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organization’s goals.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and trends.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to avoid shortages or excesses.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and specifications.
- Analyze supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to improve service quality.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities and present findings to management.
