We are searching for the company’s President who reports directly to the Group Chief Executive/Operations Officer. As the President, your primary responsibility is to further the Company Mission within Soupah Farm-en-Market and across the Parent Group company.
You will be defining and executing strategies focused on leadership, an efficient supply chain and delighting customers. You will provide leadership to the operational team, developing and oversee short-term performance and management systems, ensure effective internal communications among our larger teams and network of stakeholders, as well as supporting the continuous development of key business units.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
· Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the Board to develop and deliver the company’s strategy
  • Ensure alignment of departmental goals with the overall company strategy in collaboration with the wider team
  • Initiate and lead special projects and initiatives as directed, and ensure timely execution and successful outcomes
· Submit regular management information reports to enable the Board to make informed decisions.
Income generation and funding
· Working with wider team and delegating as necessary, identify negotiate and secure contracts, and other income generation opportunities
· As the Team Leader, ensure the success and profitability of the business in a sustainable way
· Seek new funding opportunities to enable the development of new services and the sustainability of existing service provision.
Operational Management:
· Effectively oversee the day-to-day operations
· Manage and optimize operational infrastructures
· Build the right work culture, exhibiting exemplary leadership to motivate and staff
· Hiring & Leading a team of senior managers
· Facilitate and prepare for executive meetings, including agenda setting
Communication & Stakeholder Management:
· Serves as a primary point of contact between the subsidiary and external stakeholders
· Communicate effectively with people of all backgrounds and abilities within our community hubs
· Promote Soupah Farm-en-Market’s role and activities and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, and other relevant organisations
· Raise awareness about the issues and needs of our community and the importance of environmental, agricultural and food awareness
Problem Solving and Decision Support:
· Provide insights and make decisions with appropriate recommendations
· Identify and address potential operational and strategic risks
· Conduct research and analysis to support the group head in making informed decisions
Change Management:
· Lead and manage organizational change initiatives, ensuring minimum disruption to operations
· Communicate changes effectively to all levels of organization
· Monitor the impact of changes and adjust strategies as necessary
Projects
· Lead the development of new projects developing partnerships with key stakeholders and developing links with our key target audiences.
· Ensure that the company meets all relevant statutory, company, and regulatory obligations.
· Oversee effective management of activities and compliance with regulations.
Financial Oversight:
· Work with the finance team to monitor the organization’s financial performance
· Approve budget expenditures and actively participate in budgeting and financial planning processes
· Ensure that resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to meet strategic goals
Other responsibilities
· Undertake any other duties required which are consistent with the responsibility of the post including acting as the ‘Out of Hours’ emergency contact for services operational at those times.
Qualification
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management or related field. Master’s or Postgraduate degree (preferred)
Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in executive management, strategic planning, or operations. Prior experience as an entrepreneur or similar role is highly desirable
Skills
· Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Should have a vast knowledge of Agriculture/Agribusiness’ industry standards both local and international
· Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· High level of discretion and confidentiality
· Proficient in project management and organizational skills
· Financial acumen and understanding of business operations
· Should have a knowledge of supply chain contracts & services
· Fluent in English language and any additional language

The role is typically based on site
