Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional full-time optometrist, with 1 year post NYSC experience to join our reputable eye clinic at our new branch at Igboko/Lusada, Ogun State . The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye and vision care to our patients. This includes conducting eye examinations, diagnosing vision problems and eye diseases, and prescribing corrective lenses.- Minimum Qualification : Degree
- Experience Level : Entry level
- Experience Length : 1 year
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough eye examinations using various instruments and tests.
- Diagnose vision problems such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and other ocular diseases.
- Educate patients on proper eye care and the importance of regular eye exams.
- Keep detailed patient records and manage follow-up appointments.
Requirements:
- 1 year post NYSC experience.
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license from the relevant regulatory body in Nigeria.
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in using diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Willingness to stay updated on the latest developments in eye care and optometry.
