Position Overview
Our client is searching for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager who will oversee their end-to-end operations—from initial design through manufacturing to final retail.
As Operations Manager, you’ll bring together every phase of the business to ensure a seamless flow, aiming to meet our business goals and deliver a consistent, high-quality experience for their customers.
Key Responsibilities
Process Management: Oversee the full product lifecycle, from design concepts to garment production and retail.
Team Coordination: Work closely with design, manufacturing, and retail teams to align efforts, setting clear expectations and timelines.
Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, track expenses, and work with finance teams to optimize operational costs without compromising quality.
Retail Operations: Support retail teams by ensuring inventory availability, setting up efficient store processes, and analyzing sales trends to drive continuous improvement in customer experience.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Develop and maintain efficient supply chain processes, overseeing sourcing, production, and logistics to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control processes across all production stages, ensuring products meet NACK Apparel’s standards of excellence.
Data & Metrics Analysis: Establish KPIs, track performance, and use data-driven insights to enhance efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve processes, reduce lead times, and increase productivity across the board.
Preferred Qualifications
A Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in an operations management role, ideally within the fashion, apparel, or retail industries.
Proven ability to manage teams across diverse functions, with a focus on motivating, aligning, and developing staff to drive results.
Strong organizational skills, with a track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
Familiarity with inventory management systems, supply chain logistics, and manufacturing processes within the fashion industry.
Data-oriented with experience in using KPIs and metrics to inform decision-making.
Solution-oriented, with the ability to think critically, address challenges proactively, and adapt to shifting priorities.
Ability to coordinate effectively across departments, manage vendor relationships, and communicate efficiently with stakeholders at all levels.
