A reputable Hotel around NEW OWERRI in IMO state is looking to recruit a Competent and Detailed oriented Accountant with Hospitality Experience who will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial aspects of the hotel. This includes preparing financial statements, managing the general ledger, processing payroll, etc.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements and reports.
Manage and reconcile the general ledger.
Process accounts payable and receivable.
Handle payroll processing and compliance.
Ensure tax compliance and file returns.
Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
Implement and maintain internal controls.
Conduct internal audits and risk assessments.
Manage vendor and supplier relationships.
Collaborate with management for financial decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality industry.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of financial reporting and budgeting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
