Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Fish Farmer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our fish farm operations, including fish breeding, feeding, and health management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural science, specifically in fish farming, and a minimum of 4 years of verifiable experience in fish farming. Responsibilities
Manage fish farm operations, including fish breeding, feeding, and health management
Oversee fish production, including monitoring water quality, fish growth, and feed management
Implement sustainable and environmentally friendly fish farming practices
Conduct regular water quality tests and monitor fish health
Develop and implement fish farm management plans
Supervise and train farm staff
Maintain accurate records of fish production, feed usage, and farm operations
Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective farm management
Requirements
HND or BSC in Agricultural courses (Agricultural Science, Aquaculture, Fisheries Management, etc.)
Minimum of 4 years verifiable experience in Fish Farming
Strong knowledge of fish biology, fish health management, and fish farm operations
Experience in fish breeding, feeding, and health management
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a team and train staff
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
